Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you create an account and use Forged Axis, we collect:

• Your name and email address, to create and identify your account
• Health and fitness data you log yourself -- workouts, sets/reps/weights, nutrition and macro entries, bodyweight, recovery (sleep, energy, stress, soreness), and any injuries or limitations you record
• Photos you choose to upload -- progress photos and food photos used for AI-estimated macros
• Messages you send through in-app coach/client chat and weekly check-ins
• A unique account identifier used internally to keep your data separate from other users'

2. How we use it

We use this information only to run the app itself -- authenticate you, show you your own training and nutrition history, let a trainer coach you if you're on a coaching plan, and generate features like personal records, streaks, and AI-estimated food macros. We don't use your data for advertising, we don't build advertising profiles from it, and we don't sell it to anyone.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal data. A few outside services help run the app, and each only sees what it needs to do its specific job:

• Our database and hosting provider (Supabase), which stores your account and app data securely
• Stripe, which processes subscription payments on our website -- we never see or store your full card details
• Food-database providers (FatSecret, USDA FoodData Central, and Open Food Facts) used to look up nutrition info when you search for or scan a food
• Anthropic's AI, used to estimate macros from a food photo you take and to power the in-app "Forged Axis AI" assistant, when you choose to use those features

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Forged Axis, our users, or the public.

4. Your choices & data deletion

You can review and edit most of your own data directly in the app. If you want your account and data deleted entirely, reach out through our contact page and we'll remove it.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your device and our servers. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

6. Children's privacy

Forged Axis is not directed at children. As stated in our Terms of Service, you must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Continuing to use Forged Axis after an update means you accept the revised policy.
